CAST PERIMETER LIGHTING LIMITED WARRANTY
CAST Lighting warrants its products against defects in material and workmanship. Without charge, CAST Lighting will either repair or replace (CAST Lighting reserves the right to decide between repair or replacement) any properly installed CAST Lighting product which fails under normal operating conditions and has not undergone abuse beyond normal wear-and-tear within the specified warranty period.
All items are warranted from the date of invoice to the original purchaser.
Lighting Fixtures

(*) Euro metal Perimeter Casting alloy is a living finish. Depending on the
climate, in some cases, it might develop minor surface zinc,
which is part of the aging process and easily wipes off.

LED Circuits
Cast Lighting LLC warrants its LED circuits (includes LED drivers, chips, and replaceable LED modules) when purchased from an authorized Cast Lighting distributor to the original purchaser as follows.
CAST LED Perimeter Lighting Products – 5 years.
The following CAST Lighting DC Power Supplies are approved for use with CAST Lighting LED Perimeter Lighting Products:
- CPT600DCA, CPT1200DCA, CPT1200DCAI (24V and 30V Versions)
- CJ300SSMT
*Any AC Transformer or DC power Supply that a customer chooses to use to power any CAST Perimeter Lighting luminaire must first be bench tested by CAST Lighting and approved to work with CAST Lighting drive circuits and electronics. Use of non-approved transformers voids all warranty of CAST products. Contact CAST Lighting for the approval process and testing fees.
Power Supplies:
Power Supply Warranty covers only properly installed and maintained Power Supplies. Power Supplies cannot be installed in a sealed cabinet and require ventilation. Power Supplies returned and inspected at the Cast Lighting service center found to have the following will not be covered by warranty:
- Power Supplies left operating in a horizontal position or while in contact with the ground,
- Power Supplies left operating without cover in place as evidenced by internal weather or water damage,
- Power Supplies with missing covers or other supplied parts,
- Power Supplies with cut power cords, or that have been altered in any way,
- Power Supplies Installed In a sealed cabinet causing overheating,
- Power Supplies damaged by loose secondary terminal block screws.
- Any dry contact Input that received any voltage to the PLC of the CPT1200DCAI series Power Supply
Power Supply installed within one thousand feet of any saltwater source must be installed in a vented enclosure such as by Hoffman MFG or in a building, shed, or suitable protection to avoid salt spray damage to the power supply. Damage from the salt spray is not covered by this warranty.
Installations in a building must adhere to applicable local electrical codes. Contact the local electrical authority for details specific to your municipality or governing body.
Power Supplies that are returned to the distributor and claim to be defective must be bench tested by the distributor prior to obtaining an RGA from Cast Lighting. To replace a power supply that is suspected of having a warranted defect the original purchaser must contact Cast Lighting LLC and obtain a return goods authorization (RGA) and ship FOB destination to the Cast Lighting service center identified on the RGA. Power Supply will be repaired and returned to the customer either with a like model swapped out for the returned unit or the actual returned unit being repaired and returned to the customer. Cast Lighting reserves the right to issue a credit, repair, or swap-out with a rebuilt Power Supply for any defective power supply.
If returned Power Supply is found to require repairs not covered under warranty, then the customer will be notified of the repair charge and given forty-five days from the date of the estimate to choose to either repair, return unrepaired, or abandon ownership. Power Supplies held over forty-five days (without communication from the owner) will be considered abandoned and CAST Lighting will assume ownership. If the owner authorizes unwarranted repairs, then the owner will be responsible for all repair, packaging, and shipping costs.
In addition to the above, all returned Power Supplies must be tagged with the customer’s name, contact person, problem encountered, cell phone number, and e-mail information. Do not write on Power Supply with a magic marker. The power Supply must be packaged properly to avoid shipping damage.
Claims Procedure
To replace a product that is suspected of having a warranted defect, the original purchaser must contact Cast Lighting LLC and obtain a return goods authorization (RGA), and ship FOB destination to the Cast Lighting service center identified on the RGA. The original owner must include proof of purchase, original purchaser's name, return address, and a detailed description of the allegedly defective parts or products.
The purchaser is responsible for the cost of labor to remove, repair, and reinstall any product. Cast Lighting LLC reserves the right to have a Cast Lighting authorized technician inspect the installation prior to removal of the product to verify the defect claim. If any of the warranted products are found by Cast Lighting to be defective, such products will, at Cast Lighting LLC’s sole discretion, be replaced, repaired, or refunded less an amount directly attributable to the owner’s prior use – such use to be calculated as a percentage of published estimated life.
Repaired or replaced products will be returned prepaid according to the shipping information provided by the original purchaser as noted on the RGA. The parties hereto expressly agree that the purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy against Cast Lighting LLC shall be for the repair, replacement, or refund of defective products as provided herein. This warranty extends only to product ownership by the original purchaser and is not transferable whether to heirs, subsequent owners, or otherwise. This warranty does not cover labor or any other expenses to remove or install any defective, repaired, or replaced product.
This warranty does not apply to any products that have been subject to misuse, mishandling, misapplication, neglect (including but not limited to improper maintenance), accident, improper installation, acts of God, improper packaging of returned products, modification, lightning strikes, voltage surges, field/proximity voltage spikes.
The foregoing warranty is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied including those of merchantability, fitness, or for any particular purpose or infringement. The original purchaser shall in no event be entitled to, and Cast Lighting shall not be liable for indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages of any nature, including, but not limited to, loss of profit, injury to reputation, and/or loss of customers. No employee or agent of Cast Lighting may extend, modify and /or change the terms of this warranty.

TERMS
Approved Distributor terms are Net 30 from the date of invoice. Non-approved distributors are Cash in Advance (CIA). All past due accounts are subject to a service charge equal to 1 1/2% per month, but in no event higher than permitted by law in the state where the obligation is payable. All invoices are due and payable thirty days from the date of the Invoice US Dollars, without deduction or offset of any kind, and shall be past due forty-five days past the date of Invoice. CAST Lighting reserves the right to suspend performance, to decline to deliver except for cash, or to stop delivery of product in transit if any invoice amount is past the due date until amount then due to CAST Lighting is paid in full. Possession of this price list does not constitute an offer to sell the products contained in this price list.
TRANSPORTATION
All shipments are F.O.B shipping point, domestic packaging, with freight prepaid and allowed on all continental U.S. shipments with an invoice value of $5,500.00 in the continental United States and $7,500.00 in Canada. Export shipment freight allowances will be made to the nearest port of embarkation. The distributor shall pay the freight on all orders less than the above amounts prepaid and added to the invoice.
MINIMUM ORDERS
Any Finished Goods order (excluding parts) less than $150.00 dollars net will be added a 25.00-dollar order processing fee to the invoice.
CASE QUANTITIES
Finished goods distributor stock orders shall make every effort to purchase in case quantity. Purchasing in less than case quantity will delay the shipment of products.
CLAIMS
If loss or damage in transit occurs, note on the delivery receipt. Notify the carrier immediately to inspect the shipment. CAST Lighting is not responsible for loss or damage in shipment. However, we will assist you whenever possible in processing your claims. If a shipment is received damaged, report damage on the original bill of lading or with the delivery person at the time of delivery. If damage is detected after receipt from the carrier hold the original carton and merchandise for inspection by the carrier.
RETURNS
No returns will be accepted without written authorization (RMA) from CAST Lighting. If authorization is approved a minimum of 25% service charge will apply to all returns. Transportation charges must be prepaid by the distributor. CAST Lighting reserves the right to disallow returns of improperly installed, old, obsolete, shop worn, or special-order products.
GENERAL
Prices, delivery, discounts, specifications, materials, and designs are subject to change without notice. All agreements and orders are contingent upon accidents, fire, strikes, non-fulfillment of our contracts for materials, or other causes beyond the control of CAST Lighting.
DISTRIBUTOR CLASSIFICATION
A Stocking Distributor is a distributor who purchases an initial stock order and maintains an appropriate standing inventory of the CAST product line to satisfy the needs of the local market. A Stocking Distributor must also agree to promote CAST Lighting and be committed to best practices in the installation, design, sales support, warranty, provides credit, conducts training, and has an inside and outside sales staff that adds value to the end-user experience.
All distributors must be legitimate distributor that sells to the trade and does not take part in the installation of products to the end user. All distributors must fill out a credit application and include trade references so CAST Lighting may verify eligibility.
Non-Stocking Distributor does not Inventory products and orders on an as-needed basis.
